Himachal Pradesh, the northernmost Indian state, is divided into three administrative divisions for effective governance. These divisions comprise all twelve districts of Himachal Pradesh. Mandi division is the largest of all the divisions in terms of area. However, the Kangra division is the largest division in terms of population.
List of divisions
Mandi Division: It comprises five districts - Mandi, Bilaspur, Hamirpur, Kullu, and Lahul-Spiti.
Shimla Division: It comprises four districts - Shimla, Kinnaur, Solan, and Sirmaur.
